Explorations
I started by identifying each letter’s distinguishing feature as it would be very beneficial to communicate the letters in a monogram. Then I started combining different letters to get a wide range of monograms on my desk.
After trying out tons of combinations, I filtered some of my best combinations for further analysis of these monograms.
Final-Monograms
To give them a realistic and classy feel, I also explored how we vary each letter’s weight and learned about the modularity of calligraphy.
